How the KITZ SZA Is Built

The SZA is a two-piece, full port ball valve. A forged brass body and body cap (ASTM B283 C37700; cast bronze ASTM B584 C84400 on 2½″ to 4″) hold a chrome-plated brass ball between two PTFE seats. The stem is sealed with a double O-ring and is blowout-proof, so line pressure cannot push it out. Because the bore matches the pipe size, pressure drop through the open valve is minimal. KITZ builds the range to MSS SP-110.
